本中心邀請美國馬里蘭大學喻維欣教授來台演講，以「Parent-Child Coresidence and Relationship experiences in Taiwan: Evidence from the TEPSB Survey」為題，以台灣教育長期追蹤資料庫後續調查（TEPS-B）」的資料為本，討論台灣未婚子女與父母同住之情形對於建立固定交往關係的影響。

喻維欣教授長年關注台灣社會的家庭及人口議題，已經發表超過二十篇關於台灣與日本社會的期刊論文，並著有Gendered Trajectories: Women, Work, and Social Change in Japan and Taiwan 專書。
