衛福部規畫將來在自由經濟示範區，成立國際醫療專區，引發各界的諸多討論，贊

成者認為國際醫療能給台灣醫療帶來新的活水；反對者則認為此舉將助長醫療商品化，對健保長遠發展不利。為此，政大社科院與台灣研究中心將於 6 月 12 日舉辦台灣公共政策論壇，邀請產官學各界對此政策的利與弊充分表達。
